Pickett Brass Young Artist Series Trombone Mouthpiece
Too often, students begin their musical journey with a mouthpiece that makes it harder to build a solid foundation. We created the Pickett Brass Young Artist Series to give developing musicians equipment that supports them right from the beginning.
Young Artist trombone mouthpieces bring that purpose to an affordable, efficient, and well-balanced design built to Pickett Brass quality standards. Dedicated models for bass, large-bore tenor, and small-bore tenor trombone help students find equipment suited to their instrument as they build sound playing habits.
Choose the model that matches your instrument and playing needs. Each size offers a specific inner diameter and throat combination, making it easy to compare options with your teacher or band director.
Available Models:
- YA 1 ½ — Bass Trombone: Inner diameter 1.089" (27.66 mm); throat 0.271" (6.88 mm).
- YA 5 — Large-Bore Tenor Trombone: Inner diameter 1.015" (25.78 mm); throat 0.271" (6.88 mm).
