After working with the incredible Doc Severinsen for more than 2 years, we are proud to offer the Doc Severinsen, Signature set of mouthpieces. 

The Doc Signature Mouthpiece Tops are available in the following three 27 throat models - all with the characteristic rim that Doc enjoys.

  • Model C:  An open throat entrance combined with generous volume cup making for a very full, broad sound, with a free flowing feel.
  • Model S:  A longer throat entrance and throat section, but still the large volume of the C model, this mouthpiece provides some resistance and brilliance.
  • Model L:  Starting with the standard Doc rim, this cup quickly comes in to a shallower cup providing a sizzle and brightness right at your command.  

Coupled with the Doc Signature Backbore, it offers a system that Doc has perfected into his mouthpieces of choice.

The Doc Signature Mouthpiece Backbore is a compact, focused backbore, 27 throat, with just a touch of extra weight.  Coupled with the Doc Signature Mouthpiece Tops, it offers a system that Doc has perfected into his mouthpiece of choice.

Doc plays on these mouthpieces with his Shires trumpet, producing massive volume and sound - unlike any other.

Cleaning & Care

To keep your silver or gold plated mouthpiece looking brand new:

  • Wash with warm water and soap, both inside and out.
  • Wipe gently with paper towel
  • Do not use abrasive materials like toothpaste
