The Pickett Tromba 1 is a classic take on the Baroque trumpet mouthpiece, with a cup similar to a 1C, a large volume bowl cup, a flat rim, a #22 throat, and a traditional stepped backbore.

It comes with interchangeable backbores so you can use it on either a historic replica or on an instrument with a modern receiver.

The Tromba 1 provides flexibility when playing without vents (as a natural trumpet), as well as when playing with vents, making for an overall more authentic "Baroque" experience.

Currently offered in a two piece configuration with the modern length/shank backbore as well as a one piece configuration with a modern shank.

Cleaning & Care

To keep your silver or gold plated mouthpiece looking brand new:

  • Wash with warm water and soap, both inside and out.
  • Wipe gently with paper towel
  • Do not use abrasive materials like toothpaste
