The aftermarket Blackburn Trumpets 213 Ambronze bell is a versatile, hand-finished upgrade designed to give players a balanced, with immediate responsiveness.  Built as a “good all-around” bell profile, the 213 delivers a warm, centered core that sits well in section playing.

Blackburn’s long use of ambronze for the 213 reflects the alloy’s tonal leanings: ambronze (the Blackburn designations you’ll see like 213A20S / 213A24S reference specific ambronze gauges) is a high-copper tin-brass family that tends to emphasize warmth, dense overtones, and projection compared with standard yellow-brass bells.

Players choose the 213 Ambronze when they want a flexible bell that blends in ensemble settings yet offers a rich, singing midrange and reliable projection for solo lines - with available thicknesses and hand-hammering options allowing subtle tailoring of response and color.
