The Jericho is unique within every design feature. Conceptually, Cliff had the Broadway show player in mind when designing this horn. The unique reverse leadpipe design offers a free blow, but maintains efficiency throughout all registers of the horn. It’s large/more rapid bell flare has an extremely warm sound, but when pushed the horn lights up quickly on command. The 0.024” ambronze bell coupled with Cliff’s leadpipe design is an amazing combination of efficiency and power. The Jericho offers two distinct tuning slide options, the standard and the high efficiency slide. The high efficiency tuning slide alters the overall feel of the Jericho to create a more traditional ML bore feel.

Cleaning & Care

To keep your Blackburn instrument in top working order:

Wash with warm water and soap, both inside and out, all slides and pistons.
Wipe gently with paper towel
Do not use abrasive materials like toothpaste
Use an instrument cleaning snake to remove debris through out the entire horn.

Use high quality valve oil on the valves before reinserting them.
Apply a light slide oil for the first and third slides.
Apply tuning slide grease to the tuning slide.
