Unlike a conventional trumpet mouthpiece, the Asper Visualizer features an open-cup design that provides a clear view of the lips while maintaining the familiar feel of a trumpet mouthpiece rim. By practicing in front of a mirror, players can observe how their embouchure responds during buzzing exercises, identify areas of unnecessary tension, and work toward greater efficiency, control, and consistency.

The newly redesigned visualizer is manufactured from durable, high-strength plastic resin, with improvements to its comfort, strength, and mass. Its carefully engineered rim profiles follow Pickett Brass mouthpiece sizing specifications, allowing players to select a familiar rim size for a more consistent practice experience.

A 5.7 mm pilot hole allows air to pass through the visualizer during buzzing exercises. The visualizer can be held comfortably by hand or inserted into the trumpet, providing flexibility for a variety of practice and teaching applications.
